The Impact wall-mounted boom arm offers a quick and safe way to mount a light or camera without setting up light stands or taking up valuable floor space. Heavy-duty aluminum tubes allow the boom arm to extend from 3.9 to 7 feet while supporting a load of up to 12 lb. at full extension. A 5/8-inch socket at the end of the arm holds a reversible stud with 1/4- and 3/8-inch male threads. When fully extended, the arm offers pan and tilt movement of 150° for precise light or camera positioning. To avoid clutter or obstructions, the boom arm can be tucked flush against the wall in its fully upright or down position.

Description

The Impact wall-mounted boom arm offers a quick and safe way to mount a light or camera without setting up light stands or taking up valuable floor space.

Heavy-duty aluminum tubes allow the boom arm to extend from 3.9 to 7 feet while supporting a load of up to 12 lb. at full extension. A 5/8-inch socket at the end of the arm holds a reversible stud with 1/4- and 3/8-inch male threads. •    7' Maximum Length, Supports up to 12 lb: The boom arm extends from 3.9′ to a maximum reach of 7′ and supports fixtures that weigh up to 12 lb. at maximum extension. This gives you the ability to place even weighty fixtures exactly where you need them, without the concern that they'll move or shift.
•    Heavy-Duty Aluminum Tubes: The main tube's 1.4" diameter provides strength and support for your fixtures or gear. All tubes are precision milled to assure smooth telescoping.
•    Locking Brace: In addition to the locking ratchet handle that adjusts the length, a second locking knob is added to the support brace for extra reinforcement and security for your fixtures.
•    180° Tilt and 170° Pan Movement: This boom arm is capable of 150° tilt and pan. This makes precise placement possible and it also allows you to fold the arm flush against the wall so it's safely out of the way when not in use.
•    Wall-Mounting Hardware: Everything you need to securely attach your mounting arm to a wall is included in the box, along with simple mounting instructions.

1. Warranty Coverage

SurfThing, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) warrants that all new desktop and laptop systems purchased directly from us are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of two (2) years from the original date of purchase (the “Warranty Period”).

During the Warranty Period, if the product fails under normal operating conditions due to a defect in materials or workmanship not caused by misuse, abuse, accident, unauthorized modification, or improper installation, we will, at our discretion:

  • Repair or replace the defective hardware component(s) at no cost to the customer.
  • Provide free return shipping, including a pre-paid ground shipping label and, if needed, a shipping box.

2. Return Process

To initiate a warranty claim:

  1. Contact Customer Support. You must first contact us to troubleshoot and confirm the issue.
  2. If a repair is necessary:
    • A prepaid return shipping label will be provided via email.
    • If you do not have the original packaging, we will ship you a suitable box and return label at no charge.
  3. You must package the product securely to avoid further damage during transit.

3. Repair Turnaround

We will complete the repair and ship your system back within five (5) business days of receiving it.

 4. Data and Software

  • If the failure involves an SSD or storage device, we will make reasonable efforts to recover your data, but we do not guarantee data recovery.
  • We strongly recommend regular data backups to an external drive or cloud service.
  • We will reinstall any original simulation software that was pre-installed by us at the time of shipment.

5. Exclusions

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  • Damage due to misuse, negligence, modification, or unauthorized repair.
  • Cosmetic damage or normal wear and tear.
  • Loss or corruption of data.
  • Software not originally installed by SurfThing, LLC.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SurfThing, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to data loss, downtime, or loss of revenue.

7. Transferability

This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

Refund Policy

Refund policy

Our policy is valid for a period of 30 calendar days from the date of the purchase. If you would like to return the product for a refund during this period, you may do so provided the conditions below have been met. Please note that if the period of 30 days has lapsed, we can’t, unfortunately, offer you a refund.

Refund requirements

The following criteria must be met to qualify for a refund:

- Product is defective
- Product is not as described
- Product must be in original packaging
- Product must not be damaged

In order to ensure the above criteria has been met, all returns will be inspected. If the product does not meet the listed criteria, we reserve the right not to issue a refund.

Shipping items

In order to return an order, you must contact us first and obtain and include a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Returns will not be accepted without a valid Return Merchandise Authorization.

You will need to attach a pre-paid return shipping label to the package and mail it to the address on the shipping label. You will not need to pay for shipping.

You must take care to ensure that the goods are properly packaged so that they will not be damaged while in transit. If the product is found damaged or used beyond what it takes for us to reasonably inspect it, then we may reject a refund.
