Description

The Lynx GigE Camera is built for professionals who need fast, reliable video analysis. With a frame rate of up to 320 frames per second, it captures high-speed movements with precision, making it ideal for sports performance analysis and research.

  • For use with Swing Catalyst software only.
  • This software can come pre-configured with an computer you purchase from SurfThing.

Installation:

Software and cameras will come ready for plug and play if you order them with a Simulator PC from SurfThing.

Limited Warranty – Desktops and Laptops
Effective Date: July 2, 2025

 

1. Warranty Coverage

SurfThing, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) warrants that all new desktop and laptop systems purchased directly from us are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of two (2) years from the original date of purchase (the “Warranty Period”).

During the Warranty Period, if the product fails under normal operating conditions due to a defect in materials or workmanship not caused by misuse, abuse, accident, unauthorized modification, or improper installation, we will, at our discretion:

  • Repair or replace the defective hardware component(s) at no cost to the customer.
  • Provide free return shipping, including a pre-paid ground shipping label and, if needed, a shipping box.

2. Return Process

To initiate a warranty claim:

  1. Contact Customer Support. You must first contact us to troubleshoot and confirm the issue.
  2. If a repair is necessary:
    • A prepaid return shipping label will be provided via email.
    • If you do not have the original packaging, we will ship you a suitable box and return label at no charge.
  3. You must package the product securely to avoid further damage during transit.

3. Repair Turnaround

We will complete the repair and ship your system back within five (5) business days of receiving it.


 4. Data and Software

  • If the failure involves an SSD or storage device, we will make reasonable efforts to recover your data, but we do not guarantee data recovery.
  • We strongly recommend regular data backups to an external drive or cloud service.
  • We will reinstall any original simulation software that was pre-installed by us at the time of shipment.

5. Exclusions

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  • Damage due to misuse, negligence, modification, or unauthorized repair.
  • Cosmetic damage or normal wear and tear.
  • Loss or corruption of data.
  • Software not originally installed by SurfThing, LLC.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SurfThing, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to data loss, downtime, or loss of revenue.


7. Transferability

This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

Refund Policy

Refund policy

Our policy is valid for a period of 30 calendar days from the date of the purchase. If you would like to return the product for a refund during this period, you may do so provided the conditions below have been met. Please note that if the period of 30 days has lapsed, we can’t, unfortunately, offer you a refund.

Refund requirements

The following criteria must be met to qualify for a refund:

- Product is defective
- Product is not as described
- Product must be in original packaging
- Product must not be damaged

In order to ensure the above criteria has been met, all returns will be inspected. If the product does not meet the listed criteria, we reserve the right not to issue a refund.

Shipping items

In order to return an order, you must contact us first and obtain and include a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Returns will not be accepted without a valid Return Merchandise Authorization.

You will need to attach a pre-paid return shipping label to the package and mail it to the address on the shipping label. You will not need to pay for shipping.

You must take care to ensure that the goods are properly packaged so that they will not be damaged while in transit. If the product is found damaged or used beyond what it takes for us to reasonably inspect it, then we may reject a refund.
