Overall performance was great, and you can basically have a great experience no matter your hardware if you’re using GSPro. Not to mention that GSPro gives you more control over the various graphical settings than many other softwares, making it easy to tune the appearance and performance to your liking. And you can even play golf with your mouse and keyboard if you want by swiping the mouse up and down while holding right click.
Volume clouds and shadows have a large impact on performance, while 3D grass seems to have little impact. Frame times were consistent, making for a smooth visual experience, but there can often be a large difference in performance between courses, as is common with many other simulators. Older courses look older, and they run smoother, and the opposite is true for newer courses.
In conclusion, GSPro will run well on relatively low end hardware, even at 4k with high graphical settings. We recommend using a system with at least a 5070 if you’re going for 60fps, or a 5080 if your display can output 120fps.
