  • What is the warranty?

SurfThing Computer warranty

First: SurfThing custom designs and builds computers specifically for the commercial golf simulator industry. Every component is chosen for specific reasons and tested extensively. We only use Corporate Stable Model (CSM) motherboards because they use only the best components which leads to stability and longer life. Unlike consumer motherboards that use different components for different build runs which can lead to unknown support issues and downtime. We perform more research and testing of golf apps on hardware than any other company. The result is better performance and less downtime.

All Desktops and Laptops come with a 2-year warranty.

    • The first step is to call us. We will assist you with determining the problem. If the problem is a physical issue that requires repair, we will, at no cost to you:
          1. Email you a return label to use with the box that the computer shipped to you in.
          2. If you do not have your original box, we will ship you a new box and return label. You may be thinking, ha, why keep the old box? The reason would be a faster turnaround to get your system back up and running.
        • We will repair your system within 5 business days of receiving the system and return it to you at no cost.
        • If there is an issue with the SSD hard drive:
          1. We will do our absolute best to save your data, but unfortunately, we cannot promise to retrieve it. (We recommend that you backup any critical data to external hard drive or cloud system regularly.)
          • We will reinstall the simulation software that we installed for you when we originally shipped your system.

          • How long will my order take to be Fulfilled?

SurfThing computers are often built to order and can take up to 3-5 business days to fulfill. If you purchase rush shipping, we will work to prioritize your order.
          • is there a return policy?

          Refund policy

Our policy is valid for a period of 30 calendar days from the date of the purchase. If you would like to return the product for a refund during this period, you may do so provided the conditions below have been met. Please note that if the period of 30 days has lapsed, we can’t, unfortunately, offer you a refund.

          Refund requirements

The following criteria must be met to qualify for a refund:

          - Product is defective
          - Product is not as described
          - Product must be in original packaging
          - Product must not be damaged

In order to ensure the above criteria has been met, all returns will be inspected. If the product does not meet the listed criteria, we reserve the right not to issue a refund.

          Shipping items

In order to return an order, you must contact us first and obtain and include a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Returns will not be accepted without a valid Return Merchandise Authorization.

You will need to attach a pre-paid return shipping label to the package and mail it to the address on the shipping label. You will not need to pay for shipping.

You must take care to ensure that the goods are properly packaged so that they will not be damaged while in transit. If the product is found damaged or used beyond what it takes for us to reasonably inspect it, then we may reject a refund.

          Contacting us

          Ultimate Endgamers League

What are your basic testing methods?
Framerate testing involves taking an average of game play performance on a specific resolution over a 15 minute period of actual dedicated game play. This is done for each 1080P, 1440P, and 4K performance. For games that incorporate load screens, and massively different maps, we test at least a handful of different maps and locations to then average the game performance for one final performance number.
          What Graphics Settings were used?
For the vast majority of games, we used the game's default settings where it analyzes the system hardware and sets the game settings for optimal performance. In the instance where the software did not perform this task, we manually set the graphics to "high" wherever possible.
Why are some games only 60FPS?
In most instances, this is a frame cap set by the game publisher. Most of these fall into the category of fighting games. Generally speaking, capping the frame rate at 60fps prevents any possible advantage one player may have against another when playing multiplayer on different computers. For other games, it is often that the game was designed for console first, and is set to maintain performance. This setting can sometimes be left this way when ported to PC. Rest assured, if the FPS is 60 across the board, the computer plays the game as well as it possibly can!
